Hello World!!! Have you missed me? Who am I kidding... Anywhos, I am back and I thought I would tell you about life
So lets go back... I have now been working for 6 months and I am loving every minute of it! The kids that I work with are considered "At Risk" for one reason or another... grades, behavior, emotional stability... and so on... I have an office/classroom that I work out of, but most of my time is spent in the classroom with the students that I service. I have different reading groups, friendship groups, and individual mentors. Also, I get to go on field trips, its the best!!!! So far I have been to see Mr. Goodbody- Bodyology, The Zoo (with kindergarten, they were precious and so exhausted on the way home... I had two fall asleep in my lap)

Taking a little nap
This guy was the craziest thing I had ever seen... its half ZEBRA half GIRRAFE... I don't even want to know how that works????Polly want a Cracker?

All these flower pics were taken on my phone... I was pretty impressed!!! Thanks Amy for my new phone I love it!!!!
I still have a few more field trips that I am going on and can't wait! The kids really brighten up your day and the tougher the kid the more rewarding!
My week looks like this...
Monday: work 8-4, cook dinner, watch Chuck, Stephen comes over to help us finish dinner
Tuesday: Work 8-4, coach from 4:15-7:30(ish), cook something quick or pick something up, hang out with the husband and go to bed
Wednesday: Work 8-4, nap if possible (after all I haven't had one all week), head to church, eat dinner with the youth after at whataburger, taco bell, chick-fil-a or wendy's (not so great for the diet).
Thursday: Work 8-4, coach from 4:15-7:30(ish), try to get together with friends or do something fun for dinner... watch some shows head to bed
Friday: Work 8-4, rest until we have our CO-ED soccer game or its rent a movie and eat junk food!
Saturday: SLEEP IN!!!! If you know me, this is one of my most favorite activities... I know I am in trouble when we decide to have kids but... God is good! Just pray for me! This is our hang out day... I "like" to clean on Saturdays for some reason, however if its busy that doesn't happen!
Sunday: Church, lunch with friends, NAP! and Sports TV, game night, laundry and other miscellaneous things!
Brad's scedule is a little more day to day change... but Tuesdays is basketball league while I am coaching my girls and then Thursdays he has fraternity meetings (FIFA)... and then the rest of the time we are not working, we are normally doing the same thing!
1ST PLACE: That's right, my gymnasts took first place last saturday... let me break it down for you: There are 4 events that girls compete on Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor- this is considered the olympic order, so wherever you start, say Bars, you will always go to beam, then floor, then vault. You will never go from vault to beam.. make sense? The score is given by a judge and it is taken out of a possible 10.0- very few acheive the perfect 10, but it is possible! This last week, I have two girls get all 9.o's and higher! So proud of them! then I had two other girls get three 9.o's or higher... so I had 4 girls with a 9.0 (or higher average). Gymnasts who average scores in the 9's are the top of the pack. For the team score they take the best 5 scores from each event, and then they add them all together to get our teams score, which was 1st PLACE!!! Gymnastics is however an individual sport, but at the level that my girls are competing all gymnasts are given acheivement ribbons, they will not receive placements against each other and other gyms until the next level. Needless to say, all 8 girls did a tremendous job and I was such a proud coach that day and still am! We have one more meet before our state meet at the end of April! The girls are working so hard and they are going to do so great!
FRIENDS: We have been getting together with so many fun people lately and I love it... from school and church and ones that have moved away... We love hanging out and having fun whenever we can!
BAYLOR: Championship Ring???? The boys are a number three seed (is this how you spell it?)and the girls are a number 4, this year in the NCAA tourney and we are looking good! I am cheering them on to the "SHIP!" So Proud, SIC' 'EM BEARS!!!!!!
