Spring News!

I will start with a much needed apology for not having any posts lately. I know that you are very disappointed in me so I am going to do my best to make up for it. March has flown by, and the flight was full. I think I went to three different showers for weddings and babies and such, and then I of course took my daily one as well. Thats 23 showers since my last post...needless to say, I stay pretty clean. Easter weekend also came and went quickly, but to this day I still think it has been one of the best weekends that Brad and I got to spend together!

It started on Thursday when my boss decided to close the office early at 3:00. Perfect for me, because Brad was hanging out with Matt and Quinn just down the road from me. We had a Mavs game to go to that night and so we came home and got ready! Unfortunately, Brad ate something that didn't settle to well with his stomach and we ended up giving the tickets away. Brad started to feel better later that night so we pulled out the Wii and I made great progress in the game of tennis! The next morning I got to sleep in, which for me on a weekday is huge! I woke up to find a sweet text message from my husband telling me to have a relaxing morning and that he loved me. I then went and met him at Main Event for bowling, pizza, laser tag and fun games with the youth group! Brittney Poe's parents were in town and so they were up for babysitting Quinn ( he was asleep) so that the 4 of us could go to a movie! What movie did two married couples unaccompanied by children go see? Whorton hears a Whoo! Of Course! The men were skeptical but were quickly amused by the humor of the film. It was a fun night! The next day was the Easter Extravaganza at our church. Brad and I went to the church about mid way through the event and loved to see all the kids laughing and playing as they found their eggs. We had great plans to go play golf afterwards ( more so watch me attempt to hit the ball) but it was really windy and a little cooler than we were expecting so we ended up going to lunch and walking around the outlet mall! I love being outside, hand and hand with my husband, so to do that while shopping was wonderful. That night we hung out with some of the college students who were in town and then went back to the house before the big Easter Sunday!

Easter was fun, Brad and I helped out in the nursery first service and then we to the second service. After church we headed over to his parents for an Easter lunch! With full belly's and March Madness in play we napped and watched basketball all afternoon. Very Relaxing!

Monday after Easter was a brand new day for me! Brad and I got me a membership at 24hr. fitness and worked out together every night except Wednesday! I haven't worked out in about a year so I was very sore the next day! But getting in the habit and routine of working out again has been great for Brad and I! Plus, with my new membership I received 4 free personal training sessions. My first one was on Friday and lets just say I have some work to do. FYI: if you ever got to a personal trainer be prepared to find out all the little unknowns... weight, inches, body fat, etc. This was definitely not the highlight of the session, but more so the motivation. HAHA! Which reminds me, I am suppose to be practicing everyday? oooops!

Friday was a busy day, I rushed straight home after my training session and got ready for a girls night out/Birthday celebration! It is always so much fun to catch up with my college friends and hear all the new things that are happening in our lives. Its hard to get together because we are all spreadout across the metroplex, but Caylin planted herself in the heart of dallas and her cute new apartment made for the pefect meeting spot. Wonderful night!

Saturday was our "nephew" Quinn's 1st birthday party! Quinn is very popular and there was about 72 people at his party to help him celebrate! Matt made a sweet little video of his first year and Brittney did an amazing job decorating and planning the party! We had a lot of fun! Britteny has some precious pictures up on her blog that you have to check out! (click on their link on the side of my blog!)

Sunday was church and of course nap time after lunch with the Poe's and Brittney's Parents! We also sold 25cloth.com shirts at cottonwood creeks concert series! Last night six different bands played and it was a long, but successful night for two-five! Quinn of course kept us laughing and having a good time!

Cuddle Time!

Every once in a while Brad and I will let our big puppies up on the couch with us and we have cuddle time. Nala normally takes up one side of the couch and Bentley pretends to be a lap dog on my lap. It is hard to take pictures of all of us, but I think you can get the idea!

Posting Bonus! Here is a picture of our first snowman! I just now got the pictures to upload!

I'm on the Look Out!

For those of you who know Brad, you know that he is a goof ball and loves to hear people laugh at his funny jokes. When I first read this, I laughed and then thought "OH NO, this is something Brad would do!" From now on, I am on high alert when Brad and I go to the store!

After Mr and Mrs. Fenton retired, Mrs. Fenton insisted her husband accompany her on her trips to Wal-Mart. Unfortunately, Mr. Fenton was like most men--he found shopping boring and preferred to get in and get out. Equally unfortunately, Mrs. Fenton was like most women, she loved to browse. One day Mrs. Fenton received the following letter from her local Wal-Mart:

Dear Mrs. Fenton, Over the past six months, your husband has been causing quite a commotion in our store. We cannot tolerate this behavior and may be forced to ban both of you from the store. Our complaints against Mr. Fenton are listed below and are documented by our video surveillance cameras.

1. June 15: Took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in people's carts when they weren't looking.

2. July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in House Wares to go off at 5-minute intervals.

3. July 7: Made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the women's restroom.

4. July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an official voice, "Code 3 in House Wares. Get on it right away."

5. August 4: Went to the Service Desk and tried to put a bag of M&M's on layaway.

6. September 14: Moved a "CAUTION - WET FLOOR" sign to a carpeted area.

7. September 15: Set up a tent in the camping department and told other shoppers he'd invite them in if they would bring pillows and blankets from the bedding department.

8. September 23: When a clerk asked if they could help him he began crying and screamed, "Why can't you people just leave me alone?"

9. October 4: Looked right into the security camera and used it as a mirror while he picked his nose.

10. November 10: While handling guns in the hunting department, he asked the clerk where the antidepressants were.

11. December 3: Darted around the store suspiciously while loudly humming the "Mission Impossible" theme.

12. December 6: In the auto department, he practiced his "Madonna look" by using different sizes of funnels.

13. December 18: Hid in a clothing rack and when people browsed through, yelled "PICK ME! PICK ME!"

14. December 21: When an announcement came over the loud speaker, he assumed a fetal position and screamed, "OH NO! IT'S THOSE VOICES AGAIN!"

15. December 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the door, waited awhile, then yelled very loudly, "Hey! There's no toilet paper in here."

Best Friends!

Over the past week Brad and I finally got to hang out with some of our Best Friends! We haven't seen a lot of these people in soooo long and so it was nice to catch up and say hi to everyone! On Thursday night we went to dinner with Morgan and Bryan at Cantina Laredo! It was so much fun! Brad had never met Bryan (Morgan's Boyfriend) and Morgan and I hadn't seen each other since homecoming, which was in November! Then on Saturday we celebrated with a bunch of Friends at Bryon and Lindsey Arita's! you can go to their blog over on the side -->! Brad and Bryon were roommates through college and in May we are going to be going to South Carolina with them for Dani and David's wedding! We are also going to be staying with Rachel and Brian Ballard and we hope we get to see them real soon! Good Luck studying Rachel! Dani and David were also at the Arita's but we got to see them again the next night when they came over for some dinner! Brad grilled out! Caylin came too and so did Matt Powers! Caylin, Dani and I were roommates through college and there was never a dull moment between the roommate dance and sitting out on the roof! Brad also had one of his closest friends from high school over Chase Jones! We feel so blessed to have so many great friends and it is even more wonderful that we go to see all of them this weekend! We have several more to see and we can't til we do! I almost forgot! Benton is here tonight! Brad and Bryon's other roomate Benton is back from the Marines because he blew out his knee and was not able to continue training. He is going to stay the night with us! Brad is so excited about his sleepover! It is weird that once you leave college you don't get to see your friends as often. It seems like you should still be living with them or that they should be just down the street. Unfortunate as it is, it makes the time you do get to spend together that much more special! Lucky for us Brad works with one of his closest friends Matt! We get to see him and his wife Brittney everyday! When you see them that much they seem to become family! After all we are Quinn's Anut and Uncle! HeHe! We love all our friends and we hold each of you so dear to our hearts! See you soon! Morgan and Bryan! Caylin and Dani = Roommates! Dusty, Bryon, Cade, Benton, Brad Super Supper Club The Aritas Rachel and Brian Ballard Brittney and Me Matt and Brad= typical!

Great NEWS!
Today was a great day for Two-Five...due largely to a story about our company by Darrell Ankarlo on his radio show. Ben Ankarlo (Darrell's son) passionately explained the vision of Two-Five and why you would want to join this amazing movement! After his time on the air, our website 'hits' skyrocketed and so did our sales! Thanks to these men, we are well on our way to digging our second well for the people in Rwanda! Have you changed a life yet? If not, buy a shirt now! The people of Rwanda are counting on you!
Click Here to hear the radio show! (When you get there, move to the last 5 minutes of the show to hear Ben talking about Two-Five!!!)
