The BIGGEST thank you!!!!!

The BIGGEST thank you in the world goes out to the two wonderful ladies that Brad and I call MOM!  Spring Break was jammed packed with baby projects for us to accomplish and these two ladies were the best reinforcement anyone could ask for!  This is a long post... but there are pics at the end!!!!

Projects- Brad has been working on some of these projects after work when he gets a chance-
Sand and stain dresser/changing table and night stand,
Strip, sand, stain and paint crib,
Paint baby room
Tear out old Carpet - Thanks to the Dogs!

It started last Friday when my mom arrived, within 30 minutes of her getting her car unloaded, I loaded it back up with things to take to Lowe's.  We had a nice mani/pedi before our work weekend began!  Saturday morning we met up with Rachel and her mom to do some much needed shopping for Maternity Clothes.  Although shopping is fun, my dogs were barking and ready for a break... but we took no breaks, we got home grabbed Brad, who had been working hard on stripping and sanding furniture, and headed back to Lowe's for paint supplies.  We enjoyed some yummy barbeque and then it was back to work.  Mom and I taped and painted the first coat in Tucker's room and before we knew it my "bedtime" was way passed.  We woke up Sunday morning, forgetting about the time change and missed church... what can you do?  Brad got to work on the furniture once again and Mom and I headed out to Target to create my baby registry... so many choices and decisions... ate lunch.... then it was on to Babies R Us to create that registry... more things to look at than Target, which just meant more confusion and exhaustion.... But that didn't stop us, we had a baby room to paint!!! By about 10:30 Sunday night we could barely keep our eyes open and our bodies were tired... I tried to sleep in on Monday, but my to do list was too long!!!  Mom and I ran around again getting different errands done before she took Brad and I out to dinner at our favorite Sho Guns!  Mom, I can't thank you enough for everything! We love you so much!

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday- were a little more low key, but I still had plenty to get done! Brad and I decided that our freshly painted baby boys room looked far to pink... stupid beige colors and their pink undertones.  As I coped with the fact that we would indeed have to repaint I got some other tasks out of the way... I sanded the furniture some, cleaned the house and of course had a girly day and night with friends!

Margaret arrived Thursday evening to help me out while Brad was at the Ranch for a much deserved guys weekend! Seriously, he has been working so hard!!!  Margaret is known to be quite the work horse in her family and she did not disappoint!  Lets just say that by lunch time Friday we had gone to the paint store, Lowe's and sonic (Margaret's route 44 diet coke is what keeps her going) and had finished re-painting Tucker's room!  To say I was impressed is one thing, but when Brad called to get an update and I told him we were done...  he was shocked!  After our quick lunch we started on our biggest task... finish sanding all the furniture and the crib... Margaret sanded by hand to get some of the smaller more detailed spots, while I used the sander on the bigger pieces... by early evening the sander broke, we were out of sand paper and we still weren't finished... Back to Lowe's we went, grabbed dinner, strolled through Home Depot (just incase we missed something at Lowe's) and then it was back to work... by about 11:30 Friday night all the furniture was sanded and ready to be stained/painted the next day.  We started Saturday around 9:30 clearing out the garage - Thanks to the Shop Vac- and by about 10:30 we were staining the crib.
***Side Bar- we wanted a red, rustic looking crib- so we had to stain it first then paint it red ***
With the crib stained we grabbed a quick lunch and then it was back to paint the crib... We had a pretty good system down... but it took a while... by 5:30 Margaret had to head back to Waco... it was at this point that we realized the only time we had sat down all day was when we quickly scarffed down our lunch... Talk about achy legs and back! Margaret I definitely could not have put in the hours and gotten the work done without you! We love you so much!

Sunday- EXHAUSTION! Oh my word... I took a look back at my week and could not believe everything that was accomplished... Tucker I hope you love your baby room, even though you won't remember it (just cried a little typing that), because your parents and grandparents put a lot of hard hours in!!!

And Now the moment you have been waiting for....PICTURES!!!!!

The Crib- Rustic Red!!!

Look at that wall color! No Pink!!! Perfection!

This picture shows the stain that will be on the other furniture once Brad puts the finishing touches on!!! This is one of the drawers!

I am loving how everything is turning out!

Here is the bedding that is going in the crib... not sure I ever told the blog world that I had decided to change it from the first bedding I picked!

Still to Do:
Finish and Stain Furniture
Put Finishing coat on Crib
Tear out the carpet
Get new carpet installed
Touch up the base boards
Figure out how the crib goes together
Have a baby!

BIG Boy!

I am officially 23 weeks and 5 days.  Monday I had my regular check up and Tucker's little heart beat was perfect.  Not so perfect however, are the crazy pains I have been having in the exact same spot on my right side... this is the same pain that I went to the Dr. for a couple weeks ago.  My Dr. again reassured me that the pain has nothing to do with the baby's health, but did want to do a sono to see if she could figure out what was causing it.  So today I went in for another sono... As it turns out Tucker is balled up in the lower right hand side of my stomach... hints the pain.  Our sonographer is so much fun, she makes you feel so comfortable and truly enjoys her job! Anyways, I watched as Tucker punched me repeatedly, what was really neat is that everytime I saw him move on the screen I could feel him move in my belly... it makes him feel so real.  I asked the sono lady if she could go ahead and speed up the 9 month process, cuz I am just so ready to hold and meet my little man!  Tucker also let us watch him give a big ol' yawn, so neat!  After all this fun watching, it was time to measure the little guy... lets just say I am well on my way to a 9 pounder.  Tucker is already measuring in the 80th percentile which puts him over a week bigger than my due date.  I asked if my due date was wrong and her response was " No, he is just big"... great!  Also, his largest measurement was his head, it is actually about 2 weeks bigger than my due date.  So not only is little BIG Tuck, balled up on one side causing some discomfort, he is making sure he has the biggest possible head before coming down the birth canal.  So labor should be fun!!!!

Here is a recent picture! This is my bff Rachel, she is having a baby girl approximately three weeks after I have Tucker! Yes we are already arranging their marriage!  It has been so much fun to experience this with her! We meet every Tuesday/Thursday for some intense treadmill talking walking! It is wonderful!

Love you Rach!

A little bit Famous...

It's true! Tucker and I are officially a little bit famous! This weekend Brad and I headed to Waco to support the Baylor Bears!  ESPN College Game Day came to town and we decided to make a showing! And boy did we!  Friday night Emily, Margaret and I worked diligently on some sweet posters.  Our slogans included... "We like our bevo well- DUNN" (for LaceDarius Dunn), "We got an Acy in the Hole" (for Quincy Acy), "You just got served some Wal-Ton soup" (for AJ Walton), and "Good Luck keeping up with the Joneses" (for Perry Jones III and Anthony Jones)... we felt good about them, even if some of them were a stretch... Saturday morning, we woke up early and headed to the Ferrel Center (Baylor's basketball arena).  With it being spring break for Baylor we weren't sure how many students were going to be around, but the crowd was very large and it was such a fun environment.

Emily and I decided it was time to make our TV debute and got down as close as we could to the camera's.  During the second hour of the broadcast, one of the announcers was talking about BYU and the disciplinary action they were taking against one of their starters.  On screen you can see the one announcer, Rece Davis, close up, in the top left of the screen you see the BYU logo, right next to the logo you see me, Emily made it in the shot too!  Shortly after that, the local news channel came to interview Emily and I... Apparently, we were screaming and super loud so they didn't use our interview but they did let our voices be the cheers you heard as the segment started and then they gave us a close up... to qoute myself "This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and we love Baylor!"  That was my opening line... that they didn't use, haha!  Why is Tucker famous you ask?  Well on one of the broadcast either ESPN or local news, you see a full view of me from the side and Tucker is tucked (hehe) nicely under my LARGE free Baylor shirt!

We are in the middle holding our posters!

Emily and I were slightly exhausted after our TV debute and our voices were almost gone, so we all decided to celebrate our fame at Schmaltz's, a waco Original! Turns out, this hole in the wall was the choice lunch of the ESPN college gameday hosts! Schmaltz's did not disappoint, I really need to figure out a way that I can get this delivered to me whenever I want... maybe I can use my new found fame?

The weekend and fame were not over... we still had the Big game that night! Lacedarius Dunn, our senior super star, was a few baskets a way from claiming the Big 12 all time leading scorer.  Our poster was ready... it read...
   LacE
         Scoring
ChamP
     toNight !
Margaret and Brian had courtside seats ( lucky ducks) and so Margaret did a great job of displaying this poster for us.  We knew she would need to show it often enough before LaceDarius actually made his "title winning" basket, so that the camera would know to pan to her when he did... yes we had a strategy... being famous isn't easy... Anyways, when the time came, the camera panned directly to Margaret and Brian, clear as day... however the poster was not so ready...  all because Lace missed his first free throw... by the time he made the second and clinched the Title, the camera had moved on... either way, that makes 4 Webbs and 4 posters that clearly made national TV... As the game went on you could clearly pick out the posters Emily and I were holding... The Bears looked like they had this game in the bag, but unfortunately Texas came back to win... It was a very Happy day with a not so happy ending... :(  Hopefully we can make a good showing in the tournament...

On a side note: I am signing autographs and I am in the process of writing my autobiography...
