In order to sum up the past couple of weeks I needed to reach back in my movie collection and pull out “Stick It”! One of my favorites, and thanks to Caylin I own it!
**disclaimer don’t google “Stick it” for images… especially if you have young children in the room… my bad**
So Life…
Brad and I have been able to enjoy the company of our families and friends for the past several weeks and it has been so much fun!
Over the 4th, My mom and Dad (Gary) came in town to help us celebrate America… not so much Obama, but definitely America! The boys golfed early on Friday and mom and I had a late breakfast at Cafe Brazil and followed it up with massages! We did a little shopping at Old Navy and Eye masters (mom wanted some new shades) and then met back up with the boys. We made a delicious sopapilla cheesecake and then headed over to the Webb’s for more family fun. Margaret’s (Brad’s Mom) side of the family was in town and it was the forth annual “Gordon family reunion” (always over the 4th of July) Let the games begin should really be the theme, because that's what we do! We started off with “things” a fun family game, that you can get at target ( shout out #2 for Cay). Then we split into smaller groups and played different card games (spades, golf, fruit salad, and more) and shuffle board. Dad and Russell (Brad’s lil Bro) wrecked shop the first night and were crowned champs! Way to go Dad, you won your way in! We had so much fun hanging out all together and I was so glad that my mom and dad got to be there! They fit right in… which might have something to do with the fact that my mom and Brad’s mom accidently lit our unity candle together before Brad and I even said I do! They are two of a kind for sure! Thanks for the fun weekend Mom and Dad!
Brad and I have also been blessed with several friends in the area! We celebrated Matt’s birthday a few weeks ago and had so much fun! We went on a double date with Caylin and Stephen (Blind date on their end). We finally hung out with the Walsh’s again. Chase came over for Dinner last week and so many other things that I can’t remember!
Then this past weekend Dad (Scott) came in town for some Birthday celebrating and more fun! Friday we ate an early dinner and then I had to work open gym for a few hours, so the boys went and shot some pool and played some shuffle board. The next day was “my day” (Brad’s words… he’s so sweet) and we went to Bread Winners for breakfast and then willow bend for shopping! I got these for my birthday! Mine are White and Brown, instead of red. and a few fun shirts from Anthro!
That night we headed to a rough riders game to meet some of my co- workers and Caylin and Stephen got to come along (date 2, if anyone is counting) I don’t think I had laughed so hard in my life! My dad was cracking me up! After the game we went to Dave and Busters for continued celebration of my birthday! Seriously this was some of the most fun I have had in a long time! We all raced each other and played against each other in Basketball, which I was the surprise winner of the bball games! Thank you very much! Maybe Brad did marry me for my basketball skills? “Make it Rain!” We also played this trivia game in which Dad won every time! It was ok with me though, because he was contributing to my ticket collection. By the end of the night Brad and I decided that we would have “hammerheads” instead of kids and Caylin and Stephen were the proud owners of a Jay- Z chain, later to be bedazzled!
Sunday, Caylin and I didn’t want the fun to end and went shopping together! She got a super cute dress (that she wore for date #3) and I got some cute shorts!
To top it all off, this Thursday is my 24th birthday, and that my friends is “Too much ROCK for one hand!”

Wow, that's a ton of celebrating before your birthday! Way to keep the party going! :) Hope you have a great birthday on Thurs, too!
Are your love's reserved only for married people? If so feel free to leave me off. Kidding I'm self absorbed. Put me on there. Or else.
So....it seems like the blind date went well! Update!
We enjoyed being with you and your family over the 4th.
