As Promised... Belly Pic... Week 19

Here you go!!!

This seriously happened over night... I was shocked to wake up to a belly Friday morning... This picture was taken on Saturday. 

I know I have not been great about posting the progress of my growing belly but thats because I never felt like it was really growing... sure I had gained weight but it was well dispersed (unfortunately) and the belly looked just slightly more plump, like a small spare tire decided to use my waistline as storage... also it changed everyday with what I ate and how, Forgive me, bloated I was... I would go to bed looking similiar to this pic most nights but would wake up able to zip all my old pants (notice I did not say button).  Anywho those days are gone... now I go to bed with a belly and wake up with a belly and I love it!

With how sick I have been, it has been hard to get "good nutrition", I did my best, but was still worried about baby growing.  But God is good and gracious and last night I felt the little one move and kick all night... It doesn't feel like much yet, just little flutters that I can tell, forgive me again, aren't just gas!  It is so fun! I can only feel baby when baby moves on his/her own... when I push and try to make him/her move nothing happens... haha... baby webb might be a little stubborn or lazy... Which definitely does NOT come from Brad or Me... But does describe our dogs quite well at times... but NOT Brad and NOT me! :) Who am I kidding... Brad can be a little Stubborn and I can be a little lazy... It builds Character, right?!?

Well we will know on Thursday if Baby Webb is a Boy or a Girl.... So I have a survey on the side bar of my blog... take a guess! And then leave a comment with what you picked!

My immune system is CRAP!  I am sick yet again... This time its a head cold and luckily the worst of it was yesterday (Sunday), so I am at work today, but want to do nothing but sit here... everytime a kid comes near me I rush for the hand sanitizer...

I have taken my prenatal vitamins everyday and have even started drinking V8 Fusion (lets get real, I hate veggies)  but apparently my immune system is still down.  When I told my mom yesterday she gave me the "Remy Nicole" like I was in trouble... haha...it made me laugh (on the inside, I felt to horrible to crack a smile).  I would randomly start crying yesterday too, HORMONES!, because the body aches were not fun... Brad told me I needed to toughen up just a little (in a nice way) it actually motivated me to stop crying haha... I am such a mess!

Speaking of Brad he is on track for becomming the Husband of the Year!  He started off January with a promotion, raise, and added responsibility.  By mid January he was waiting on me hand and foot because I was sick and couldn't get out of bed... and this past weekend he cleaned like crazy, fixed the fence and did some yard work! This doesn't even begin to describe all he has done... He is too good to me!  I Love you!!!!

Home Sick... :(

The Stomach Bug = the most miserable I have felt in a long time...What about morning sickness you ask?  Not the same... with morning sickness, you throw up and feel better... with the stomach bug you throw up and never feel better and never stop throwing up... YUCK!!!! sorry for the graphic description... But it looks like I am finally on the mend.  It has been over 12 hours since my last "episode" and I am starting to feel much better... and doctor said that baby is perfectly safe and isn't affected by the bug at all!

In other news, I have a sweet, precious, little nephew who was born on January 7th!

Baby Webb can't wait to meet cousin Milo!  And we get to find out what baby Webb is on Feb. 3!!!! WOO HOO! I can't wait to know!  I will take a belly pic once I feel better... although it can be very deceiving (the bump that is)... One day I am huge and the next you can barely tell I am pregnant...

So here it is... My 13 week belly picture...

Sorry if you were looking forward to me having some kind of baby bump... Had I taken this picture about 4 or more weeks ago, you might have seen a little bump, but apparently it was just gas/bloating... (poor Brad :)  Doctor says I am doing good, I am up 5 pounds (at 12 weeks) and the heart beat was super strong and sounded like a horse galloping... Baby Webb is growing great! She/He is now the size of a PEACH!!!! And I am feeling much better! Woo Hoo!!! Our next appointment is January 10th, 2011 (weird to write 11 instead of 10) I should be right around 16 weeks... I will find out what we are having at my 20 week appointment in February, unless I am lucky and get to find out early! Fingers Crossed! 

The doctors visits are really short when you don't have an ultrasound done, but it is still super awesome to hear that little heart beat... apparently it is really easy to tell the difference between the baby's heart beat and mine, but of course I didn't know that... so I asked... and after a somewhat funny look from my doctor and Brad, she moved the monitor over to where she could hear my heart beat... let me try and describe to you the difference... Baby's heart beat = Horse galloping (fast),  My heart beat = a grandma walking in heals using a walker (slow)... I felt more than a little stupid when I heard the difference, and Brad laughed....

Speaking of Brad, he is doing great! As in great at taking care of me... a couple of weeks ago I wasn't feeling well... Nausea... anyways Brad ran out to the store and grabbed me some ginger ale, goldfish, and nilla wafers... I know it doesn't sound like a great remedy but it worked! Well last week Brad came home from work with another surprise for me... 1 big box of goldfish, 2 small bags of goldfish and 2 boxes of Nilla Wafers (one reduced fat)... looking confused he told me what it was all for:  The big box of GF and the non-reduced fat Nilla Wafers were for the house,  1 small bag of GF and the box of Reduced fat (he is concerned our baby might get fat) Nilla Wafers were for my office and the other bag of GF was for my car... He has got me covered!!!

The two of us have had so much fun during this time in our lives... I can't believe that in 6 months it is going to be THREE of us!!!!!

Lane's Shower and Christmas

This past week and weekend were jam packed! I finished my last week of work for two weeks, slightly stressful... I was so ready for the break! Within 30 minutes of getting off work, I threw clothes in a bag and headed to Houston for Lane's Shower and Christmas with my side of the fam!  Lane's shower was so fun! She got lots of great baby items!!! Little Milo we are all ready for you!  Here are some pictures...

After the Shower it was time for Christmas!!!!  Brad and I got this amazing camera from Mom and Dad Gary and Dad Scott!!!  We love it! It took all these pictures and will be great to capture precious moments of Baby Webb!  and other cuties.... like Baby Milo!  Here are Christmas pics!

It was such a fun day and evening... we ate dinner at Papasito's and stuffed our faces! What a great Christmas!  

We celebrated with my Dad Scott the next day in traditional Norwegian style... well kind of, we had to throw in some italian for my Nonna as well. My dad's dad was Norwegian and my Dad always had a traditional Norwegian Christmas feast with the Jacobsen side of the family... The feast includes Lefsa, Tutebure, Yetoast and other items that I can't spell or pronounce!  My favorite was the lamb chops! Yummy!  I forgot to bring my camera so I don't have any pics, but we still had a great time!

Now it is time for Christmas with the Webb's at the Ranch!!! I love Christmas and spending time with all my family!

Week 9

Week 9 happenings:

No work this week! I love being on a school schedule!!!!  I was able to get lots of sleep and enjoy some fun time with friends!  It is important to note that (p.s. if you have a weak stomach don't read on) my first morning sickness "vomit" happened Tuesday... So glad that Zofran is allowed for prego women!  I went shopping with My friend Margie and her 1 year old twin girls! They are so beautiful... everyone stops and comments on their cuteness... It was really fun to push the double wide stroller and pretend like I was their mommy! hehe!!! I did purchase my first belly band (Thank you Target for having them on sale!)... I only have to wear it with my skinny jeans for now though... I gained a pound this week.... I blame Thanksgiving!    I also experienced a pretty crazy prego mood swing driving to Houston Wednesday night,

 INSERT LONG STORY HERE:

 it was due to hunger and the need to pee, but the other drivers should have known that I was prego and gotten out of my way...right???  No, I didn't hit anyone, just scared Brad enough to think that I wanted too! HaHa!  I would like to say that once I got to stop and pee that I felt better, but thats when I realized that my stall was out of TP and I had to call out to the line of people (which I also had to wait in) to pass me some under the door... Then of course, no soap in the dispenser and no Paper Towels.... O well, I knew that a number 1 from Wendy's would fix my mood swing at first bite... However, they decided to give me half of a burger patty instead of the full square... What the HECK!!!!  Sweet Brad offered me his chicken nuggets, but I was to stubborn to accept... So thus my mood swing continued, especially when we were at a dead stop on highway 45...I tried to be understanding and told myself that some idiot probably got in an accident and I should feel bad for them.... But as the minutes passed and the miles did not, that feeling of understanding left me, only to find out later that there was no accident (Praise God really), only idiots on the road...I leaned back my chair and closed my eyes and when I woke up my mood swing was over!  Sorry Brad... I really do love you!!!!

I realized that I am craving a few things from my childhood this week, in particular, Salami Sandwich (description: paper thin sliced salami from the grocery deli on sliced french bread... Delicious!!!!) and Ginger Ale... Yummy!!!

And Baby Makes 3! Were PREGNANT!!!!!!!

It is with very JOYFUL hearts that Brad and I would like to announce that we are expecting our first child on July 1, 2011!  That puts me at 8 weeks and some days.... We are so thankful and feel so blessed that God has given us this opportunity!  We are praying for a healthy pregnancy and baby!  So far so good!  I will do my best to keep you updated on a somewhat weekly basis about our little "gummy bear".... see below!

Week 8:

• 1st sonogram and blood work
• Felt more nausea than normal
• Celebrated with friends
• named our baby "gummy bear" until further growth
• Slept a lot!
